Anastasia Vlachopoulou is a Greek qualified lawyer and a member of Thessaloniki’s Bar Association with expertise in Privacy & Data Protection. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s degree in Law & Informatics from the University of Macedonia. Anastasia has also obtained her certification as a Data Protection Officer.
Before joining ALG, Anastasia has offered her consulting services to the privacy team of a multinational consulting company, where she had the opportunity to assist clients with GDPR Compliance, deliver privacy trainings, contribute to the completion of DPIAs, TIAs as well as to the drafting and review of DPAs.
While working with ALG, Anastasia has contributed to various privacy projects for clients in the pharmaceutical sector, providing privacy compliance programs, reviewing privacy assessments, and advising on areas such as international data transfers, handling requests from data subjects (DSRs) and monitoring compliance with the latest developments and changes in the field of privacy and data protection.
Anastasia also pursues voluntary her expertise in privacy and data protection, supporting a European center for digital rights by writing short summaries of significant Data Protection Authority Acts in Europe on the relevant platform maintained by the organization.
She is fluent in Greek and English and speaks German.
