Chara Tzotzou is a Greek qualified lawyer and a member of Thessaloniki’s Bar Association with a diverse background and a strong focus on Contracts, Data Privacy, Corporate Law & Governance and Healthcare Law.
Chara embarked on her legal career as a Trainee Lawyer at the Ministry of Justice, and later, as a Lawyer at a law firm in Thessaloniki, where she specialized in Civil and Commercial Law.
Before joining ALG, Chara contributed her expertise to Roche Hellas’ Legal and Compliance Team, where she acquired valuable hands-on experience in Healthcare Law and Compliance.
Chara’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in International and European Law and Governance from Panteion University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, along with a Data Protection Officer Certification. Her achievements in legal competitions and her academic accomplishments further demonstrate her commitment to excellence and innovation in the legal field.
In ALG, Chara provides legal support and compliance services to multinational pharmaceutical companies with a specialization in drafting, reviewing and negotiating several types of contracts. Chara advises multinational companies on applicable international and domestic regulations and legal complexities and provides expert legal advice on various aspects of corporate and pharmaceutical law. Chara is performing compliance checks for HCP/HCO engagements both before and after such engagements and she is in regular contact with EOF on transparency reporting, marketing authorization issues and various regulatory matters (Named Patient Sales Programs, recalls etc).
