Dimitra Panopoulou is an EU-qualified lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association as well as the Greek Association of Medical Law and Bioethics. She has a diverse background with a focus on pharmaceutical, civil, and criminal law.

Dimitra embarked on her legal career as a Trainee Lawyer at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the Council of Europe, and later as a trainee Lawyer and Lawyer at a law firm in Athens, where she specialized in Traffic Accidents’ Law, Civil Law, and Criminal Law. Dimitra is also experienced in legal representation of clients before the Courts of First Instance and Insurance Companies for out-of-court dispute resolutions.

Her educational background includes an MA in Pharmaceutical Law (diploma thesis on “Orphan Drugs”) and a BA in Law. She began her legal career at the Permanent Representation of Greece to the Council of Europe, before gaining further experience in traffic accident law, civil law, and criminal law.

At ALG, Dimitra provides legal support and compliance services to multinational pharmaceutical companies, assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, with a primary focus on agreements related to clinical trials.
