Giorgos Giarmas is a certified Data Protection Officer from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and is currently completing his B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He holds multiple professional certifications, including IT Knowledge (UCERT), AI Data Analysis, and internationally recognized HR proficiency credentials from HRCI and SHRM. This interdisciplinary skill set enables Giorgos to navigate complex data, technology, and organizational challenges with precision.

Giorgos brings a strong foundation in communications and digital media, complemented by experience as an editorial intern specializing in political reporting for a leading news organization. He is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, applying these capabilities to deliver reliable analytical, administrative, and project support across diverse assignments.

At ALG, Giorgos serves as a Paralegal, contributing to the firm’s data protection and compliance initiatives. His work includes managing Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), conducting data-mapping interviews, developing privacy training materials, and maintaining critical compliance databases. His attention to detail and methodical approach support the firm’s commitment to delivering high-quality privacy and regulatory services.

Giorgos is fluent in English and has working knowledge of French.
