Katerina Zaragka is a graduand at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She served as a Human Rights Adviser at the Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations in New York, where she attended meetings of the Security Council and experienced the strategy of negotiation on complex issues, such as the Covid-19 pandemic. She also held positions in the administration of the European Law Students’ Association, the biggest Law Students Society, as a Vice President and as an Assistant.

Katerina is a legal researcher at the first Animal Law Clinic in Greece, under the supervision of Greek law professors, which aims to issue policy papers to be used in animal rights cases.

During her undergraduate studies, Katerina has gained knowledge in Health and Social Care Law, having carried out research on the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Health System (NHS) and the consent of minors to any surgical or medical treatment.
