Maria Triantafyllou has significant experience in Data Privacy, AI Governance, Compliance and Commercial Law. She is a certified DPO and member of the Athens Bar Association.

Combining in-house and private practice experience, Maria advises international organisations across a range of industries, including highly regulated sectors. She supports the development and management of international privacy programmes, helping organisations address complex regulatory requirements and integrate data protection into their business operations and contractual relationships. Her work also includes advising on the privacy and compliance implications of new technologies and supporting the development of AI governance frameworks for the responsible adoption and use of AI.

Her approach combines legal expertise with practical understanding of business priorities. She has led privacy and compliance teams, guided cross-functional stakeholders and delivered training to international audiences.

Maria holds an LL.M. in International and European Legal Studies from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a focus on International Business Transactions.

Maria is fluent in English, and a native Greek speaker.
