ALG Manousakis Law Firm has contributed the Greek chapter to the 2025 edition of the International Comparative Legal Guide – Technology Sourcing
This year’s edition produced focuses on the rapidly evolving landscape of technology sourcing across jurisdictions. The guide offers expert insight into legal, regulatory, and commercial developments around the globe, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, software licensing, data protection, and more.
Our contribution reflects our team’s active engagement in the intersection between law and technology in Greece. The chapter was written by Alexandros Manousakis, Andreas Stathopoulos, Iro Katrachoura, and Chara Grigoriadou, with valuable input from Rania Romanidou. It provides an overview of the key legal considerations relevant to the sourcing of technology solutions and services within the Greek legal framework.
The 2025 guide includes both expert analysis and jurisdiction-specific chapters. Through these contributions, it examines critical areas such as procurement practices, contracting structures, dispute resolution mechanisms, employment law, intellectual property rights, and the legal challenges arising from the use of emerging technologies. Notably, two recurring themes throughout the publication are the sourcing of AI solutions and the emerging concept of service-as-software — both of which represent significant shifts in how outsourcing is approached on a global scale.
