ALG Manousakis Law Firm sponsored the 18th Panhellenic Conference of Law & Legal Services, organized by Nomiki Bibliothiki, which took place on 30 June and 1 July 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Athens.
Our firm participated in the panel discussion:
“Legal Operations & AI: Building the Modern In-House Legal Function.”
Representing ALG Manousakis Law Firm, Ioannis Manousakis, Managing Partner, joined Mitzi Berberi (Kiwi.com), Stefania Diamantara (Dialectica), Natalia Lioupi (Harvey AI) and Spiros Tassis (POTAMITISVEKRIS) in an insightful discussion moderated by Antigone Papangelopoulou (HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings S.A.).
The discussion explored how Artificial Intelligence and Legal Operations are reshaping the modern legal function, highlighting the opportunities AI creates to enhance efficiency, streamline legal processes and enable legal teams to focus on higher-value, strategic work.
During the discussion, we shared our perspective that while AI is transforming legal practice, specialization, professional judgment and practical experience remain the foundation of high-quality legal advice. Responsible AI adoption, combined with strong legal expertise, will continue to define the legal profession of the future.
Key takeaway: AI does not replace legal professionals! It reinforces the value of strategic thinking, sector expertise and effective collaboration between in-house teams and external counsel.
Beyond the panel, the conference offered an excellent opportunity to exchange views with in-house counsel, legal professionals and industry leaders on the evolving legal landscape.
Our team attending the conference included: Alexandros Manousakis, (Senior Partner), Evangelos Katsaras (Junior Partner), Vanda Konti (Junior Partner), Chrysanthi Barouti (Senior Associate), Peggy Papadimitriou (Senior Associate) and Maria Triantafyllou (Associate).
